After
finding nothing in the thrillers, mysteries and trashy novels sections, I was
just about to leave the store when I chanced upon, “Inheriting Edith,” by Zoe
Fishman. The back cover sounded mildly
interesting and since I was desperate for something to read, I took it to the
checkout counter.
Turns out
it was a quick and uplifting read, delving into Alzheimer’s, suicide, adoption,
secrets, relationships between mothers and daughters and a whole lot more. So, if you woke up on the morning of November
9, 2016, feeling like crap and need a little bit of magic in your life,
Inheriting Edith might be just what the shaman ordered.
